Thousands call for Haniyeh to remain as PM

Tens of thousands of Hamas supporters went to the streets of Gaza calling for Palestinian PM, Ismayel Haniyeh, who is currently in Iran, to remain in his position.

This step is supposed to lead to the lifting of the international ban placed on the Hamas government. The force of the protests come as an embarrassment to Abu Mazen and may forestall the negotiations.
